Quality Systems & Problem Solving Engineer Opportunity!We are seeking a Quality Systems & Problem Solving Engineer to join the team of a dynamic manufacturing company in the Warsaw, IN area. This role serves as the site's lead trainer and coach for structured problem solving, root cause analysis, and quality methodologies. Success in this position requires not only solving complex manufacturing problems but also developing the organization's capability to solve problems independently through effective training, coaching, and facilitation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.Strong expertise in structured problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies.Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing change without direct authority.Demonstrated success training, coaching, and developing employees at multiple organizational levels.Working knowledge of automotive quality systems including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and improvements.Excellent communication and facilitation skills.Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.Preferred ExperienceAutomotive OEM or Tier 1 manufacturing environment.Experience supporting product launches or start-up operations.Development and deployment of plant-wide training programs.Proven success driving cultural transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Lead site-wide problem-solving initiatives focused on manufacturing, supplier, and launch-related quality issues.Facilitate and coach cross-functional teams using structured methodologies including A3, PDCA, 8D, DMAIC, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.Drive robust containment, corrective actions, and verification activities to ensure sustainable solutions.Establish and standardize problem-solving practices, expectations, and governance across the facility.Develop and deliver quality training programs that strengthen quality mindset, accountability, and defect prevention.Train and mentor employees on Six Sigma methodologies, statistical thinking, and quality tools.Support Green Belt and Black Belt development and continuous improvement projects.Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership teams to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development plans.Measure and report the effectiveness of training programs and improvement initiatives.Support new product launches by embedding quality systems, risk mitigation, and problem-solving rigor.Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Engineering teams to resolve issues that extend beyond plant operations.Serve as a change agent, helping build a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.**Apply today for immediate consideration!
