This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in accordance with Marana Unified School District policies.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and deliver standards-based lesson plans aligned with curriculum and student needs.Assess student performance and use data to modify instruction and support achievement.Create and maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment using effective classroom management.Implement differentiated and developmentally appropriate instructional strategies to engage and motivate students.Prepare instructional materials, maintain records, and document student progress, attendance, and performance.Integrate technology and meaningful curriculum connections to enhance student learning.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, evaluation methods, and classroom activities.Collaborate with instructional teams, specialists, school personnel, and community agencies to support student success.Supervise and direct teacher assistants, volunteers, and student workers to support classroom operations.Participate in professional meetings, comply with district policies and reporting requirements, and perform related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSRequired:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/universityValid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardStandard or Alternative Elementary, K-6 Arizona Teaching CertificateSalary:$51,050.87 - $55,773.03 (based on current hiring schedule)9 Month Contracted Regular PositionOther:For more information:Apply at: https://jobs.redroverk12.com/org/maranaschools or call 520-682-4778 with questions.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYDiscrimination against an otherwise qualified individual with a disability or any individual by reason of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin, is prohibited.
