Utilities Electrical Engineer

DescriptionUtility Electrical EngineerReports to: Utility DirectorLocation: Dalton, GAClassification: Salary, ExemptSUMMARYThe Utility Electrical Engineer is responsible for the preventive maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing process to ensure the successful execution of production activities all in accordance with the high industry standards and within manufacturing timescales.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum and other appliances .Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using chain falls, hand tools and jacks .Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements .Replace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications .Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with the procedures stated .Put machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair work .Take off hardened material from machines or machine parts by utilizing power and hand tools jack and sledgehammer, abrasive and other appliances.Follow electrical blueprints and schematics .Interpret PLC ladder logic programs .Follow local, state, and national electric codes .Have strong knowledge of electrical components and motor control.Have strong knowledge of HVAC and VRV systems.Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field1-2 years of c ognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine parts1-2 years k nowledge of mechanical maintenance1-2 years electrical experience if applicableCritical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning electrical componentsD iscipline to execute tasks without procrastinationExcellent time management skills and execut ion of all orders and /or demands in a timely mannerAbility to handle basic toolsLearn how to operate the BMS System, Dock Door/Leveler Maintenance, Dust Collector Maintenance, Exhaust Fan maintenance, Humidifiers and Highspeed Doors.Strong k nowledge of safety precaution sStrong knowledge of motor controls, photosensors, conveyor systems etc.Strong Knowledge in troubleshooting AC/DC VoltageExperience reading blueprints and technical drawingsMust have strong knowledge of electrical test equipment (Multimeters, Clamp Meters, Process Calibrators, etc.)Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlledAssertive, able to cope with pressure, a team playerPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAble to stand and walk in the production area throughout the workday.Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction.Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with factory automation, i.e., robotics, or complex servo-controlled systems.Be able to work voluntarily and creatively and constantly improve your competences.Stay responsible for job related problems and maintain job ownership.Fluent in both Korean and English.
