Our ice sheets are expected to be the smoothest, most well maintained, and to provide the best on-ice experience for anyone that comes through our doors. The Ice House Operations Team is responsible for providing this experience through diligent maintenance and housekeeping along with prompt and accurate ice cuts throughout the day. You are also responsible for monitoring all compressor room equipment and maintaining all other ice maintenance equipment.Job Details (general overview): Resurface both ice sheets with Zamboni Ice Resurfacer at scheduled times and complete cuts in the ten-minute time period.Complete routine maintenance on both ice surfaces and all ice maintenance equipmentOperate Zamboni Ice Edger; followed by light grooming on ice sheetChange propane tanks on Zamboni as neededClean and maintain the Zamboni in immaculate condition; following all scheduled preventative maintenance tasksPerform weekly blade change service on ZamboniFill out compressor system log sheet at scheduled intervals.Clean Dasher Board glass; remove puck marksPerform light janitorial duties through all locker rooms & Ice House spacesMust be willing to work in a cool temperature environmentAssist with miscellaneous Facility services as neededQualificationsMust be at least 18 years old.Must possess current and valid Driver’s LicenseMust be available and flexible to work various hours during the week and weekend.Previous Ice Resurfacer and/or ice rink experience is preferredMust be able to lift-up to 75 poundsGet to know us better:www.thestjames.comhttps://www.thestjames.com/stj-sportswww.thestjames.com/careersInstagram: @thestjames, @thestj_sports, @thestjamesperfomanceclub @courtedspaAdditional InformationThe St. James is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
