This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career (with 1-2 years of experience including relevant internship experience) to build a strong foundation in private equity and alternative investments.You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, fund administrators, and external partners in a collaborative environment designed to support learning, growth, and long-term career development in fund accounting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger recordsPerform account reconciliations, including bank and cash reconciliations across multiple fundsMonitor daily cash activity and assist with cash management processesSupport maintenance of investor capital account balances under supervisionAssist in the preparation of quarterly investor reporting and deliverablesPrepare investor capital account statements using fund accounting systemsContribute to quarterly reporting and annual GAAP financial statement preparationSupport audit and tax processes by coordinating with external auditors and tax advisorsCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including fund managers and legal advisorsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1–2 years of accounting experience (internships and entry-level roles considered)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExposure to partnership accounting, private funds, or real estate is a plusExperience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran or similar) is a plusWhy This Role?Direct exposure to private investment funds and institutional-level reportingOpportunity to learn from experienced finance and investment professionalsStrong career development path in a specialized and high-demand fieldCollaborative, supportive team environment focused on growthOur client offers a supportive, friendly culture, hybrid schedule (WFH Mondays and Fridays), growth opportunities, competitive compensation including bonus, and excellent benefits!
