Manufacturing Operations Functional Test AnalystCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Manufacturing Operations Analysts - Assembly Advisement Workplace Coaches for Functional Test (Level 4) to support the 737 North Line Assembly Advisement team onsite at the Skill Enhancement Center in Everett, Washington.While this role is primarily located in Everett, the first six months will be split between Renton and Everett for training purposes.Position Responsibilities:Utilizes manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more of these areas; mechanical, fluids/pneumatics, electrical integration, composites fabrication, composites assembly, machine operations for coaching, performance improvement and problem solving in support of the Boeing Production SystemAnalyzes and interprets performance and quality data to identify and mitigate the impact of changes on the production system. (e.g. CMES, CORRS, PAS, EPES, TMC)Conducts assessments of processes and practices, analyzes and interprets data for improvement opportunitiesProvides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of riskAnalyzes processes and supports Boeing Production System problem solving, develops and documents innovative solutions in support of area Q.C.D.S.M. goalsAssist Manufacturing & Quality managers & team leads with Structured on the Job Training (SOJT) plan.Program/job specific, advanced skills training- Supports training and coaching solutions to improve employee performanceWorkplace Coaching- Provide Subject Matter Experts for specific Manufacturing & Quality Skills/DisciplinesProvides instruction, positive modeling, and opportunities for observation to help team members and employeesEncourages questions to ensure understanding. When coaching gives timely, appropriate feedback on performanceReinforces efforts and progressClarifies expected behaviors, knowledge, and level of proficiency by seeking and giving information and checking for understandingEstablishes good interpersonal relationships by helping team members, and internal employees feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussionsExerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organizationBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing working with assembly processes and proceduresProficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to work 2nd shift Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higherExperience working with detailed work instructions, or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsExperience in a role that required analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsManufacturing experience in one or more of the following: Mechanical, Fluids/Pneumatics, Electrical Integration, Composites Fabrication, Composites Assembly Shift: This role is 2nd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives COI: Successful candidate for this job must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
