We oversee projects involving roadways, structures, interchanges, and toll plazas. Offering expert consulting from design to construction.Your Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings to prepare for the inspectionConduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentationInspect work site for proper traffic control setupInspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and that they are in compliance with applicable permitsMonitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client's proceduresEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diplomaMinimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projectsPennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experienceMust have a minimum of one of the following:- Current NICET Level 2 or higher,NECEPT AsphaltPennDOT NECEPT Concrete certificationThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.We are managing complex, large-scale commercial projects from conceptual planning through design, construction, and occupancy. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
