Practice hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Work 36 patient facing hours and 4 admin hours per week. Eden is convenient to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Raleigh, Charlotte, and the coast.Role ResponsibilitiesConducting follow-up visits and surveillance for patients post-cancer treatment or with hematologic conditions.Initiating diagnostic and therapeutic interventions during chemotherapy or other treatments, and interpreting lab results.Managing acute/episodic visits and side effects, and recognizing urgent issues.Overseeing some chronic condition management.New hematology consults in collaboration with the physician.Assisting in developing a new oncology care model to enhance patient outcomes.UNC Health UNC is known for its physician-friendly scheduling, nurse triage support, access to advanced specialists, Epic EMR with AI-driven documentation reduction, and a culture centered on a team approach to quality care. UNC Rockingham Health Care, a 108-bed community hospital, joined the UNC system in 2018. Qualifications Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Rockingham.Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification. DEA. Professional Experience Requirements: Two years' experience as an APP experience in oncology or related field preferred.
