Senior Level Developer

We are a privately owned firm specializing in the trade of Treasury, Eurodollars, Energy, Agricultural and other products. We make markets electronically and on the floors of various exchanges. We are growing quickly and depend on the interaction of Traders, Financial Engineers and Software developers for our continued success. We are looking for Senior-Level Developers to join our Software Development team. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with team leads, financial engineers, traders and systems support to gather system requirements. Participate in the design, creation, testing and deployment of various modules within our futures and options trading system Experience the full spectrum of software development activities within a fast-moving, dynamic trading environment. This job requires the following: Minimum 5+ years experience in software development Superior development skills in either C++ or .NET programming Familiarity with one or more scripting languages Strong knowledge of relational databases systems Experience with multi-threading and multi-tier application development Experience with exchange connectivity and high frequency feed handling Experience optimizing infrastructure components in a trading environment is a plus Linux and Unix knowledge is a plus Good problem solving skills Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to manage software project and programs, meet deadlines and work within project timeframes Good verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills Use case and UML experience a plus prior financial trading firm experience is a definite plus. Total compensation will conform to experience and includes base salary, performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits plan.
