Apply now »Date: May 4, 2026Location: Fenton, MO, US, 63026Company: Hubbell IncorporatedJob OverviewThe Controller Killark serves as a key member of the Hubbell Harsh & Hazardous finance team supporting the Killark site within the Harsh & Hazardous BU. This role reports to the Harsh & Hazardous Director of Finance and interfaces regularly with the local management team, BU and SBU controllership and operational finance team. This role has overall responsibility for financial reporting, cost accounting and the control environment covering the Killark part of the US legal entity. This entity includes the Killark and Hawke US brands. Key responsibility for the oversight of planning, forecasting, audit for the entity. This role is a support to the Killark Sr. Management and will partner with Operations, Sales & HR functions to ensure the delivery of value-added analytical support to be applied by the management team in making routine decisions and in setting near and long-term strategic objectives.This is a Hybrid position that is located a minimum of 3 days a week in our Fenton, MO manufacturing facility.A Day In The LifeResponsible for leading a timely and accurate month end close process in alignment with segment and corporate controllership. This includes responsibility for analysis & controls environment.Prepare monthly income statement and balance sheet flux analysis Ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirementsAnalyze and make assessments of financial statements and related metricsEffectively synthesize and communicate the ‘underlying story behind the numbers’Play a significant role in the development of monthly operational forecasts, annual plans, and longer-term strategic plans for the entity.Primary owner and champion of the Hubbell internal control environment at Fenton; including key controls, policies and procedures and other measures to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley, and US GAAP.Main point of contact for all internal audits & SOX complianceEnsure strong control environment and oversee local key controls testing, compliance and applying continuous improvement methodology into internal controls and financial reportingEffectively communicate financial information to non-financial managersEfficiently obtain, organize, and transform data in Excel, Business Intelligence, One Stream and related applicationsComplete ad hoc financial information requests and various special projects as neededEffectively interact with Hubbell stakeholders in person and remotely via video conference using company provided equipmentWork outside of regular business hour during monthly forecast cycles, plan cycles and other periods of peak internal demandTravel to Juarez, Mexico site as requiredAdditional duties as requiredWhat will help you thrive in this role?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, from a four-year college or university required. CPA, CMA, MSA/MBA are a plus5+ Years of finance/accounting experience, preferably within a global manufacturing companyStrong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including US GAAPAdvanced knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
