Position: Workday Compensation DeveloperReq ID: 26-09550Location: Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MNWork Model: Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remoteDuration: 12+ months, with potential extensionInterview: 1st Round Webex; 2nd Round may be onsite Position OverviewWells Fargo is seeking a Workday Compensation Developer to support its HRIT Compensation product team. The ideal candidate will have strong advanced Workday Compensation experience combined with hands-on Workday Studio and integration development skills.This role will design, build, test, and support advanced compensation solutions for critical US and global Compensation initiatives, including year-end compensation cycles, within an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, configure, test, debug, and document Workday Compensation solutions. Build and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors. Develop and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer and Advanced Reporting. Translate complex Compensation business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Support compensation cycle and year-end initiatives across US and global environments. Participate in sprint planning, estimation, solution design, testing, upgrades, and deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues and integration challenges. Lead technical initiatives and serve as an escalation point for complex Compensation development issues. Collaborate with HR, Compensation, engineering, product teams, and other stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and direction to less experienced team members. Must-Have Skills 2+ years of hands-on Workday Advanced Compensation development experience. Strong Workday Compensation functional and technical expertise. Hands-on Workday Studio development experience. Experience with Workday Integrations, including:EIBs Core Connectors Workday Studio Report Writer Advanced Reporting Ability to design and connect multiple Workday Compensation solutions to solve complex business problems. 5+ years of Software Engineering or equivalent experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or related field. Preferred SkillsWorkday/HR systems Compensation experience. SQL, SAS, or other data management/reporting tools. Workday Extend development. Workday Adaptive Planning, Modeling, Sheets, Reports, and Dashboards. Adaptive security, permissions, user groups, and access rules. HCM-to-Adaptive integrations, user synchronization, and SSO. Agile methodology experience. Strong leadership and ability to influence within a matrix organization. Ideal CandidateThe strongest candidate will be a Workday Compensation specialist who can independently build advanced Compensation solutions, not just a general Workday developer. They should be comfortable combining Advanced Compensation + Studio + Integrations + Reporting to solve complex technical and business requirements.
