Payment Nerds is seeking a full-time SEO Specialist to spearhead our marketing initiatives and assist in SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. Responsibilities: Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI throughout campaigns Conduct keyword research, discovery, expansion, and optimization Conduct site audits to identify on-site SEO issues Perform intent breakdowns and competitive analysis Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations Optimize blog posts and marketing pages for search Develop and implement a link-building strategy, including internal and backlink audits Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on websites Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content curation Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords Essential Qualities: Proven SEO experience, 2-3 years minimum Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO Must be familiar with WordPress, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, Screaming Frog, etc. Work well in a fast-paced environment while staying precise in daily activities Exude respect and positivity in all interactions both inside and outside of the organization Reliable and punctual Ability to manage multiple tasks and assign proper time management Desired Skills & Experience: B.A. in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience). Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
