Office Furniture (including Fixtures) ManufacturingRestaurants and Other Eating PlacesPulp, Paper, and Paperboard MillsBasic Chemical ManufacturingIron and Steel Mills and Ferroalloy ManufacturingJob Title: Manufacturing Engineering ManagerLocation: Sheboygan, WIType: Direct HireSalary: $120k - $170k/year DOEWhat you have:Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of ten years’ experience in a related area; preferred to have three or more years management experience.AutoCAD experience preferred.What you’ll do:Provide engineered solutions and root cause analysis for complex manufacturing on legacy equipment.Lead, coach, and develop our Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager, with potential to expand team responsibilities as the organization grows.Partner with the Director of Continuous Improvement & Planning to help lead initiatives that improve yield, reduce scrap, and drive cost savings.Collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance, and product development teams to drive improvements in overall plant performance.Assess the overall value of manufacturing capital improvements and maintenance projects.Develop project plans to include budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements.Prioritize multiple schedules and project deliverables through consensus building and cooperation.Engage with the Corporate Engineering group, utilizing Central Engineering resources when applicable.Create, document, and implement clear and effective SOPs for all critical processes.Train operators and supervisors to ensure adherence and consistency.Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect process changes and improvements.Continuously analyze costs and develop cost reduction plans for capital improvements and maintenance projects; provide support to facility managers in the implementation of cost reduction initiatives as needed.Perform a variety of financial analyses associated with cost reduction efforts and total production costs. Identify resources required for assigned projects and prepare justification for senior management approval.Monitor and report performance of the manufacturing project (capital improvement or maintenance) to ensure that all contractual, costs and schedule objectives are met.Perform other duties as required.
