The role of the Senior Training and Education Analyst is to conduct training classes and provide instruction on various technical topics and coordinate educational projects within the health system. Including the development of new training materials and modification of existing training materials. Additional responsibilities include, analyze workflows and develop education/training material. Configure / build training environments to provide accurate and effective material and education. Ensure training materials and documentation is current and effective. Write, design, edit, and maintain documentation and training materials. Analyze current operational flows in order to enhance efficiency of business or clinical practice operations. Research training methodologies, learning tools and practices. Explain complex information to non-technical audiences. Remain current on training and educational product trends. Ensure thorough documentation is available throughout the implementation process, as well as monitoring project plan and reporting project changes and status to administration. Conduct Train-The-Trainer sessions. Coordinate and lead daily team activities. Perform multi-level testing with responsibility for analysis of results and resolution of any problems. Research and analyze new functionality to develop education materials. Provide technical assistance with the build and maintenance of the training environment and the associated environments. Planning and development of new specifications in the environment. Recommending technology solutions, techniques, and processes. Configuring training environments to provide accurate and effective material and education. Serve as the education team's subject matter expert. Other duties that match the position as assigned.
We are seeking a qualified individual to join the Penn Medicine Beaker Team as a Senior Training and Education Analyst. A Beaker Principal Trainer Certification is preferred and must be obtained within the first three months of employment. Candidates with a background in Medical Laboratory Science are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct training classes and provide instruction on various technical topics
Coordinate educational projects within the health system
Development of new training materials and modification of existing training materials

Credentials:
At least one electronic medical record (EMR) certification, preferably Epic required.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required) Instructional design, business, education or healthcare related degree Equivalent Experience, and 4+ years' Experience with providing classroom instruction or small group presentations.
MLS (Preferred)
Master of Arts or Science (Preferred) Instructional design, business, education or healthcare related degree Equivalent Experience:
