We take a property and its evidence - closing documents, appraisals, remodel ledgers, receipts, photos, floor plans - and returns a defensible allocation of the building's depreciable basis across tax recovery classes, plus the report, workbook, and audit trace a CPA files a return against. Work that used to take engineering firms weeks and five figures, we do with a deterministic calculation engine and a governed component library. Models transcribe and extract. The deterministic engine remains our core capability.The roleYou work directly with the founder. Small enough that what you decide, ships. Generating a study is a nine-stage chain, and every stage requires an agent, ops wiring, and clear logic.What "AI-native" means hereIt is how you work, not how the product decides. You should be fluent with coding agents and orchestration, able to get a week of output out of a day, and just as able to tell when that output is confidently wrong.What we are looking forAn Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science or Data Science.At least 2 years of work experience, and internships count. If you are building or have built something real, that is equally impressive to us.Scrappy, proactive, and process-oriented. You move fast and you leave a trace others can follow.Fluency with our tools: TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, Docker, Obsidian, and coding agents. Comfort across our full stack.Authorization to work in the United States. We are not sponsoring visas at this stage.TermsContract to start. If the first 90 days work for both of us, it converts to full-time.Compensation: starting pay at $95K/yr; first call, full-time package at conversion.Benefits: not yet.
