This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical maintenance who is eager to grow into more advanced systems and responsibilities. The Maintenance Technician position works under the direction of the Maintenance Team Lead and supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will doPerform basic mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance by responding to maintenance calls and work orders, assisting with preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, safely using hand and power tools, following OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures, documenting work in the CMMS system, maintaining organized work areas, supporting senior technicians on larger projects, and assisting with parts handling and inventory tracking.QualificationsNecessary Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentBasic mechanical knowledge (bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, etc.)Basic electrical understanding (sensors, relays, motors, simple circuits)Ability to read basic schematics, manuals, and work instructionsComfortable troubleshooting problems logically and methodicallyStrong attention to safety and detailWillingness to learn and take feedback Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and related systems Trade school or technical certification preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbsWork performed in an industrial/manufacturing environmentOvertime or call in may be requiredSome weekend is required (With 24hr notice)Preferred Qualifications3 Years of consistent work history5 years of Manufacturing environment experienceMaintenance Vocational Diploma Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career.
