Data Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for passionate data enthusiasts eager to make a tangible impact through data-driven solutions. *Responsibilities* * Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics. * Design, implement, and optimize SQL databases and queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across diverse systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Talend, and other SQL databases. * Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into effective data models and analytical solutions. * Conduct data analysis using advanced techniques in R, Python, Excel, and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic initiatives. * Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in requirements analysis, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of analytics applications. * Design and implement database structures with a focus on database design principles to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and scalability. * Utilize scripting languages such as VBA and Bash (Unix shell) to automate data workflows and streamline reporting processes. * Engage in project management activities within Agile frameworks to ensure timely delivery of analytics projects aligned with business priorities. * Maintain documentation using tools like Visio for process mapping and technical specifications to support ongoing system enhancements. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with strong proficiency in SQL query management, database design, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. * Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar platforms; familiarity with SDLC methodologies is highly desirable. * Technical proficiency in R, Python, VBA, Bash scripting, and other data analytics tools for complex analysis and automation tasks. * Knowledge of business intelligence concepts including dashboard development, reporting strategies, linked data integration, and technical proficiency in SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. * Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements thoroughly through requirements analysis techniques; experience with analysis skills that translate business needs into technical solutions. * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle analysis within an Agile environment; experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is a plus. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly through dashboards and reports; experience with Visio or similar diagramming tools is advantageous.
