Apply via Dice today!APOLIS2024Day 1 onsite at Huntsville, ALSenior Software Engineer (Systems)12 Months ContractJob Purpose:We need someone who has more experience, especially in medical-level documentation, medical risk management.To review software implementation for various firmware implementations and update portions of software documentation (including architecture, interfaces, detailed design).Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:Participate in updating documentation with required content.Participate in Design Reviews of the updated documentation with the extended software team.Education and Experience:Embedded firmware experience using CBS Computer Science, Computer Engineering or BSEE (with applicable experience in software development)We are looking for someone with more medical experience (maybe 10+ years in medical), who has progressed beyond only writing code and tests. This person needs to have experience on a variety of medical device projects and needs to have advanced in their career to have more leadership responsibility.These candidates can provide the technical input that coders can provide to the person who is responsible for writing the documentation. We're looking for someone who can leverage that coding experience into writing the finished documents suitable to go directly from their hands to the FDA. We're interested in the people with coding experience plus architecture experience, risk analysis experience, etc.Leadership experience:The person we're looking for is a Software Systems Engineer, has significant coding experience and significant Systems Engineer experience.
