The RoleTheLeaderinTraining (LIT)is an adaptable and essential part oftheRISEDispensaryleadership teamthatprioritizesdelivering memorable, positive consumer experiences. As part of the leadership team, you have a key role inactively supervising thedispensary'sdailyoperations,communicating priorities to teammembers, andoptimizingthecustomer journey.As a LeaderinTraining, you will gain subject matterexpertiseas you rotate throughcritical dispensary functionssupporting operations, experience, and people.The LeaderinTraining roleputs you on a fast track to growth and is a developmental step to becoming Assistant General Manager.ResponsibilitiesOperationsSupportmanagement in overseeing the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of products and communicating inventory action items with management.Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.Activelyparticipatein leading team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions.Demonstrate proper cash handling, including accurately processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance, and oversee team member execution.ExperienceLead by example and motivate team members to consistently deliver memorable, positive in-store customer experiences.Participate in "Leader On Duty" shifts to provide active supervision, team member recognition, and redirect behaviors to support the customer journey.Facilitate a seamless omni-channel customer experienceand provide oversite to deliverconsistency across in-store, drive-thru, curbside & delivery.Lead by exampleand motivate team members to deliver Loyalty goals.Complete and appropriately delegate assigned tasks during scheduled shifts. Ensure adequate sales floor coverage and zoning during shifts.PeopleIn partnership withthe General Manageror Assistant General Manager, build andretaina high-performing team byparticipatingin selecting the best talent and leading the onboardingandtraining of new team members.Providecoaching and feedback to help team members exceed performance and behavioral expectations.Partner with management toissue accountability.Helpfacilitatethestore's team member badging process with local and state agencies.Maintain and coordinate scheduling of team members' shifts, meal breaks, and rest periods.Perform other duties as needed.QualificationsAt least threeyears of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.Cannabis experience preferredInventory control experience preferredMeet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needsMust have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance.Must be 21 years or older.Must pass any and all required background checks.Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green ThumbMust have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations, and a passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.Prior cannabis experience not requiredSkillsMust be proactive, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills.Meet timelines consistently and be able to work under pressure effectively.Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback, and maintaining composure even in difficult situations.High level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, often working cross-functionally.Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and emailHighly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environmentPossesses a high level of critical thinkingOperates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationAbility to resolve conflict, handle employee and customer complaints, and settle disputesAdditional RequirementsMust have the ability to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to the duration of a scheduled shift or workday)Move about the dispensary in order to fulfill work assignments and assist employees and patients and/or customers in various locations of the dispensaryRemain in a stationary position, if required, to meet the needs of the businessConverse and communicate with individuals and groups of people directlyOperate point of sale system, computer, and other office productivity machinery in order to use online programming and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and emailPrepare patient and customer orders by moving and placing productsInspect and receive detailed information, such as patients' and/or customers' dates of birth, in-store or online orders, or inquiriesMove inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independentlyPosition self to move inventory and materials in storage areasWorking ConditionsPatient and/or customer-facing environmentAbility to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditionsExposure to cannabis and/or allergens that might be present in an environment where cannabis is present and prevalentThe pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance. Green Thumb Pay Range$19—$19 USD
