Tempering Technician - NIGHT SHIFT

Tempering Technician - Night ShiftCardinal CT in Mount Airy has a full time production & manufacturing opening for a Glass Tempering Technician.Primary Responsibilities :Manually lift up to 50LBS. of raw material, finished products, and/or pack items repetitively in a fast paced production environment.Mark or tag identification on glass products.Inspect glass for visual/and or material defects as well as quality specification tolerances.Observe equipment operations, make minor tool adjustments, or notify operators, leads, or maintenance of any malfunctions.Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.Record product information using measuring tapes, record sheets, spreadsheets, and quality software.Understand product & machine workflows to properly load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.Follow 5S procedures to maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work environment.Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.Cross train into a minimum of three areas of production.Communicate pertinent information to co-workers, supervisors, and management.Complete all other tasks as required.Respect for each co-worker.Regular attendance as outlined in attendance policy.Ability to work in a team environment and use good judgment.We Offer:Competitive hourly base rateMonthly company profit sharing up to 52% of your base pay.Medical, HSA with company match, Dental, VisionCompany Paid Life Insurance & Short-term disability** This is a night shift position **Night Shift Hours:Monday - Friday: 5:30pm - 5:30am (or until orders are complete)*** Shifts can run up to 12 hours each day ***Apply online or in person.Drug Screen, Hearing, Physical & Performance Evaluation Required.Equal Opportunity Employer.
