Lead Full Stack DeveloperUnder general direction, the Lead Full Stack Developer has duties of instructing and checking the work of other programming personnel. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. The Lead Full Stack Developer is responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming. Responsible for quality assurance review. Acts as project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration. Responsible for monitoring the work of team members.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Strong proficiency with JavaScript, React, and Next.jsExperience in Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, Hapi, etc., depending on your technology stack)Experience in RESTful or SOAP web services development.Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL server) and NoSQL databases.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationImplementing automated testing platforms and unit testsMastery of software engineering toolsFamiliarity with agile software development methodology and release processes.Familiarity with source control such as Git.Experience in systems design with cloud-like technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.Experience command line Linux experienceExperience in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)Execute full lifecycle software developmentDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applicationsProduce specifications and determine operational feasibilityIntegrate software components into a fully functional software systemImplementation of security and data protectionAbility to document requirements and specificationsDocument and maintain software functionalityTailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metricsComply with project plans and industry standardsProven work experience in software engineeringKnowledge of Sitecore (not required, but a big plus)Knowledge of Sitecore Headless (not required but big plus)Other information: Bachelor's degree in related technical/business area plus 6 years of IT or business experience. 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Expert understanding of Computer Science principals, programming languages/tools, debugging/troubleshooting techniques and Computer Operations. Expert capability to analyze information, determine software design requirements and then design, develop, test/debug and implement software components. Expert capability to document software design as well as run time /operations instructions and recovery/restart proceduresResponsibilitiesProvides expert support for definition/refinement of business requirements and for quality assurance/acceptance testing efforts. Designs, develops, tests and debugs software components of high complexity. Provides implementation, production and upgrade support for software components of high complexity.
