In this role you will own the full sales cycle within large and complex enterprise accounts. You will be expected to lead high-value opportunities, manage multi-stakeholder relationships, and develop long-term account strategies that drive sustained growth. Operating with a high degree of independence, you will contribute to company-wide revenue goals by shaping strategic sales outcomes, influencing senior decision-makers, and helping define best practice across the sales organisation.What You'll Do Develop New Business and Grow Existing AccountsIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities within enterprise accountsBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across industriesLead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure for complex, high-value dealsIdentify and drive expansion opportunities across multiple business units within accountsProspect strategically using tools such as Sales Navigator, Meet Alfred, Apollo, and SalesforceSales Strategy and ExecutionShape tailored account strategies to align Buildkite's solutions with customer prioritiesLead complex sales processes involving multiple decision-makers and technical evaluationsAccurately forecast revenue and pipeline using advanced methodologies such as MEDDPICCMaintain CRM hygiene with complete documentation across long-cycle opportunitiesPartner with leadership and cross-functional teams to secure successful outcomesShare insights and improvements to strengthen team processes and sales effectivenessCustomer EngagementCollaborate with Solutions Architects to design and deliver solutions that address enterprise-scale needsProvide strategic insights to help customers maximise value and adoptionRepresent Buildkite at executive-level meetings, industry events, and conferencesAct as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback to influence product and strategy internallyContribute to Buildkite's reputation externally by modelling inclusive, customer-first engagementWhat You Bring Proven Sales Experience – Significant experience in B2B SaaS or software sales with a strong track record of closing enterprise-level dealsIndustry Knowledge – Deep understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCPStrong Relationship Builder – Skilled at influencing both technical stakeholders and senior executives within global enterprisesSales Acumen – Expertise in using strategic methodologies such as MEDDIC to navigate complex sales cyclesResults-Driven – Consistently exceeds revenue targets with precise forecasting and reporting capabilityCollaborative and Strategic – Works effectively across functions and contributes to broader sales team capabilityLong-Term Thinker – Able to design and execute account strategies that build sustainable growth and enduring customer relationshipsLeadership & Influence – Shares knowledge, mentors peers, and contributes to the development of best practice across the sales organizationThis role will offer a On-Target Earnings (OTE) package, comprising a base salary, sales commission, and benefits. The On-Target Earnings* for employees will be a 50/50 commission split for base/variable pay.The base salary range for this role is $110,000-$150,000.
