This role is responsible for meeting with clients, understanding their requirements, and creating detailed designs and plans using CAD software. You should have excellent knowledge of various plants and their growth requirements, understand aesthetic design principles, and be able to work within budget constraints.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and present conceptual and schematic designs for construction site plansCreate compelling graphics through hand drawings and advanced design software for residential landscapesPrepare detailed documents, plans, and renderings to effectively communicate design vision to clientsGenerate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiativesPromote company services and products to potential clients and follow up on leads Execute site plans with a keen understanding of grading, drainage, and intricate planting designsAssess and analyze site conditions, considering factors such as soil quality, slope, drainage, and existing vegetationCollaborate with the construction team to ensure accurate execution of design plans in the fieldLeverage geospatial technology to enhance landscape planning and analysisManage client accounts and conduct meetings to ensure satisfaction and alignment with their visionNegotiate contracts and collaborate with clients and vendors effectivelyPrepare necessary documents for applications and permits for local approvalsContribute to marketing and business development initiatives, and take on additional responsibilities as neededThe Ideal CandidatePossesses excellent communication skills and can articulate design concepts clearlyDemonstrates prior sales experience; familiarity with client lead management is a plusHas a strong understanding of plants and horticulture to tailor designs to client specificationsProficient in AutoCAD and familiar with other design software applicationsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential landscape designProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD; knowledge of Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion is preferredStrong portfolio of built residential or commercial landscape projects Must have a valid NJ driver’s license and be comfortable with local travelThe Perks401(k) plan with company match Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance FSA/HSA PerkSpot Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance Paid time Off Tuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)Pay TransparencyMariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
