The opportunities are endless.Job OverviewThe Landscape Construction Crew Lead is a hands-on working leader responsible for leading a small crew in the installation of landscape construction projects. Reporting directly to the Foreman, this role focuses on executing work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while guiding crew members in daily tasks. The Crew Lead works alongside the team in the field and supports the Foreman with productivity, communication, and jobsite organization.Responsibilities And DutiesCrew Leadership (Working Lead)Lead by example while actively performing landscape construction workDirect day-to-day tasks for crew members based on Foreman instructionsTrain crew members on proper construction techniques, equipment use, and safety practicesMaintain crew productivity, teamwork, and jobsite disciplineLandscape Construction WorkPerform and lead landscape construction installations including:Hardscape installation (pavers, block retaining walls, steps, edging, etc.)Site prep, grading, base preparation, and compactionDrainage systems and minor irrigation installation or repairsPlanting trees, shrubs, sod, and landscape materials as part of construction projectsRead and follow construction plans, layouts, and job specificationsEnsure work meets quality standards and Foreman expectationsSafety & Jobsite StandardsFollow and promote all company safety policies and OSHA guidelinesConduct daily jobsite safety practices including PPE complianceKeep jobsites clean, organized, and safe throughout the workdayEquipment & MaterialsSafely operate landscape construction tools and equipmentPerform daily inspections of tools and equipment and report issuesHelp track material usage and notify Foreman of shortages or needsQualifications & Experience3+ years of landscape construction or hardscape experiencePrevious experience leading or mentoring crew members preferredStrong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and toolAbility to take direction from a Foreman and execute plans accuratelyValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordPay TransparencyMariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
