General Production Operator (GPO) - Machine ShopLOCATION: Akron, OH, USAShifts:* Friday-Saturday days: 5am-5pmJob Summary:General Production Operators (GPOs) at Ariel support manufacturing by using manual machines and hand grinders. They are responsible for finishing and testing high-precision parts that we use to manufacture the world's best compressors. Quality checks are performed on every part using precision measuring equipment to ensure the integrity of our product. Production schedules work off of a dispatch list using SAP.Most GPOs work individually in an assigned work center; however, some work centers are team oriented. The type of work center you are assigned to depends on the size and type of part you are machining. At Ariel, there are many opportunities within the Machine Shop.
