The role includes configuring communication networks, troubleshooting logic and device integration issues, supporting field commissioning, and preparing technical documentation. This position works closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure control systems meet specifications and performance requirements.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Designing, coding, and testing PLC and HMI programs for industrial control systemsConfiguring communication protocols, networks, and device integrations (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.)Supporting commissioning activities on customer sites, including logic verification and functional testingTroubleshooting intermediate to advanced automation logic, communication, and device integration problemsPreparing documentation packages, including revisions, logic descriptions, and system backupsCoordinating with project managers, field technicians, and engineers to execute system requirementsEnsuring all programming meets internal standards, customer specifications, and safety requirementsThis role bridges between supervised programming and advanced system design, requiring strong technical competence and project coordination skillsJOB REQUIREMENTS:3+ years experience programming PLCs in industrial environments (oil & gas, manufacturing, water/wastewater, or similar).Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming.Experience with at least one major PLC platform (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).Familiarity with HMI/SCADA software (Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC, Wonderware, etc.).Strong understanding of control system design and electrical panels.Ability to travel to project sites as needed.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
