Eectrical Assembly TechnicianLocation: Midland, TX (Onsite)Job Type: Contract | Full-TimeCompensation: $30-35/hr + based on experienceAbout The OpportunityJoin a growing automation and robotics company that designs and builds custom manufacturing equipment for customers across multiple industries. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical assembly experience who enjoys working on automated machinery, troubleshooting systems, and supporting equipment through build, testing, and startup.You'll work closely with Engineering, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and commission custom automation systems.What You'll Be DoingAssemble and install electrical and mechanical components on custom automated machineryWire industrial equipment using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawingsInstall and connect sensors, motors, pneumatics, safety devices, control panels, and machine componentsAssist with electrical checkout, troubleshooting, and machine startup activitiesDiagnose and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues during assembly and testingSupport controls and automation teams during machine debugging and system integrationVerify proper operation of motors, actuators, sensors, and electrical devicesPerform mechanical assembly, alignment, and installation of machine components as neededDocument wiring changes and as-built modifications throughout the build processAssist with equipment tear-down, shipment preparation, customer site installation, and startup support when requiredFollow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environmentRequired3+ years of industrial electrical assembly, machine building, maintenance, or automation experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawingsExperience wiring industrial machinery, control panels, sensors, motors, and field devicesFamiliarity with 24VDC and industrial control circuitsStrong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systemsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipmentAbility to work onsite Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for equipment installation and startupWork AuthorizationCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
