Job Title: Data Engineer (Mid/Senior IC) – Big Data & AnalyticsLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Duration: 6-month contract-to-hireOverviewSeeking hands-on mid to senior Data Engineers (ICs) to support a Big Data & Analytics team. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting migration efforts into a modern cloud data platform (AWS/Snowflake), and enabling scalable data products for analytics and AI use cases.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, maintain, and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in AWS/Snowflake environmentsSupport migration of data assets and applications into a centralized data platformDevelop and manage data transformations using Python, SQL, and DBTEnsure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelinesCollaborate with data platform, analytics, and business teams to deliver usable data productsTroubleshoot pipeline issues and support ongoing platform operationsRequired Skills3–8+ years of experience in data engineering (mid/senior IC level)Strong AWS experience (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.)Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse experienceProficiency in Python and SQLExperience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data modelingAbility to work independently and execute with minimal oversightPreferredDBT experienceExposure to AI/ML or data platforms supporting analytics/AI use casesExperience in large-scale data migration or modernization efforts
