This role defines the vision,strategy, and execution of core infrastructure, platform services, operations, and ITservice management capabilities that enable reliable, secure, and scalable businessoperations. The director drives modernization, innovation, and service excellence whileensuring strong alignment with organizational objectives and future‑state needs.Key Responsibilities: Set the mission, vision, and strategy for the I&O organization to supportenterprise IT and business priorities. Drive enterprise innovation by advancing modern I&O capabilities that strengthencompetitiveness, enhance productivity, and enable transformative technologies. Align I&O initiatives with targeted business outcomes and future‑statecapabilities. Partner with IT leadership to manage the service portfolio, allocate resources,and prioritize technical debt remediation. Improve IT resilience through enhanced reliability, tolerance, and disasterrecovery readiness. Oversee an integrated IT service management (ITSM) ecosystem, including ITasset management, to ensure efficient, consistent, and end to end servicedelivery. Maintain governance and controls that support compliance, audit readiness,operational risk management, and policy adherence. Collaborate with security leaders to integrate enterprise security strategy into allinfrastructure and operations practices. Strengthen awareness of I&O’s business value and ensure alignment tocustomer needs. Build strong stakeholder relationships to understand business needs and ensurecost‑effective IT service delivery. Lead IT integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, to ensure seamlessalignment of systems, infrastructure, security, and operational processes. Lead I&O financial planning, ensuring optimized spend, predictable operationsand reinvestment capacity for strategic initiatives. Manage vendors, contracts, and SLAs to ensure effective service delivery. Build and lead a high‑performing I&O organization that fosters accountability,collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, workforce planning, andperformance management. Cultivate a culture that embraces innovation, service excellence, andprofessional growth.Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s or masters degree in computer science, information systems,business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience Ten or more years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities Three or more years of experience leading strategy, budgeting, organizationalleadership, and high-performing technical teams. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsSkills & Experience Strong executive leadership with the ability to communicate an I&O vision alignedto business strategy. Effective influencer and negotiator in complex, cross‑functional environments. Proven experience streamlining and scaling operations while balancing agility. Advanced analytical, strategic planning, and execution capabilities. Skilled in consensus‑building and securing support for major IT initiatives. Strong business acumen with deep understanding of industry and enterpriseoperations. Demonstrated ability to develop talent through coaching, mentoring, andperformance management. Leadership experience with cloud management, integration, and engineeringpractices. Ability to leverage AI/ML, automation, and self‑service capabilities to improveefficiency and experience. Expertise in budgeting, financial management, vendor governance, and servicequality management.
