Job TypeTemporaryDescriptionSummary: While working a summer position for the Maintenance Department, you will assist with preventive maintenance tasks, groundskeeping and supporting our maintenance team with day-to-day activities.Potential Duties And Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, and general landscape upkeep. Assist with painting projects such as surface preparation, priming, and applying paint to buildings, equipment, and other structures. Support maintenance staff with routine repairs and upkeep of facilities and equipment. Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction. Continually demonstrates a productive and non-disruptive work ethic. Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies. Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Works well as team member Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions and an industrial environment Willingness to learn and take direction from team members Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus, but not required Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong work ethic and attention to detail Have mechanical skillsRequirementsManufacturing & Operations, Maintenance
