You will collaborate with sales leadership and clients to develop and execute winning segment-level strategies, owning the technical sales motion from discovery to close.What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)Recruiting, mentoring, and building a world-class team of sales engineering directors, managers, and individual contributorsCollaborating with sales leadership and clients to develop and execute winning segment and account-level strategies while owning the technical sales motion from start to finishRefining and scaling the core sales engineering processes to ensure consistent execution and operational efficiencyActing as a key technical leader and executive sponsor for strategic customers and partners, representing the company at industry events and executive briefingsDriving the technical strategy that positions our solutions as essential to the customer's long-term business objectivesWho You Are (Success Profile)You are customer-obsessed. You build solutions, processes, and teams that are not just effective today but are built to last and support a high-growth, global organization.What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience10+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles with at least 5 years of experience leading teams, including multiple lines of managementProficiency in selling network security technologies including SSL and web-related technologies, firewalls, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoringAbility to travel up to 40% to support teams and engage with strategic customersWhat Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Industry certifications including CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSPA hands-on leadership approach with the proven ability to engage directly with strategic accounts to secure technical winsA deep understanding of complex, multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytellingZscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level.
