In this role, you will assist with recruiting, team member communications, and administering other HR functions at the Florida Distribution Center located in Lakeland, FL. You’ll thrive in our team environment where our focus is always superior Customer Service, Integrity, Quality and Teamwork.Specific DutiesKey point of contact for People Services and General Manager on DC staffing needsDaily and weekly review of each department’s staffing requirements to develop staffing solutionsPost open positions and execute recruiting strategies to achieve required staffing levelsIdentifies, screens and refers top talent to hiring managersWorks closely with hiring managers on interviews and selection processComplete post-hire process to include administering drug screen, initiating background checks and scheduling physical assessmentsManage onboarding processManages candidate activity in Success FactorsMaintains records and provides daily statistics on recruiting activitiesAssist with all employee transfers, salary changes, terminations, etc.Assist with human resource functions, including payroll, uniform management, employee relations, employee files and policy managementContribute to team effort by accomplishing related projects as neededMaintain confidentiality of associate records by not discussing any information outside of the Human Resources department and by ensuring the work area is secure when unattendedSupport all special activities, events, lunches, etc. to include organizing and preparing food and prep, preparing flyers, offer creative ideas for various campaigns, exceptions lunches, Annual Open Enrollment, monthly events, etc.RequirementsJob RequirementsPrefer some experience in Human Resources/RecruitingMust be detail oriented and able to perform multiple tasks during the workday. Ability to take direction, responsibility, ownership, and work independentlyExcellent communication and ability to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality. Proven skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Knowledge of Success Factors is a plusBilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.We Offer Generous benefits package with premier medical, dental, and vision partners 401(k) w/ 4% match Paid Time Off and Holidays HSA, FSA, Life Insurance, Referral Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Legal Resources, EAP Paid Time Off Substantial associate discount on our quality merchandiseDisclaimerDisclaimerThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
