Structural Steel Detailer

Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join a growing team. This role focuses on detailing structural steel and miscellaneous metal components, producing accurate fabrication and erection drawings based on architectural and structural design documents.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AISC detailing standards, experience working in a fabrication environment, and proficiency with 2D and/or 3D detailing software.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metalsInterpret architectural and structural drawings and specificationsApply AISC steel construction detailing standards and best practicesCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teamsEnsure accuracy, clarity, and constructability of all drawingsMinimum QualificationsWorking knowledge of AISC steel construction detailing standardsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsHigh attention to detail and organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with computer applications including Excel, email, internet tools, and PDF/image management softwareExperience with SolidWorks, Tekla, or AutoCAD (preferred)Interested?
