Overview We are a dynamic startup that has been in business for about a year, and we’re excited to share that our journey has been successful. Throughout the last year, we have been financial positive, and only growing. Currently, we’re a small but motivated team of about four people, each dedicated to our mission and thrilled about what we’re building. Our team is heavy on sales, but as we are growing, we are looking for somebody on the technical side. We are a payment processing company, and help businesses save money on accepting credit cards. We'd like to bring on technical partner to the business, who will be able to take care of our back end. Our team is composed of some college students, and some grads. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAY: As stated above, this is a startup, so the pay will be discussed along the way. Our plan for this role is to start by paying you on a project basis, and projects will constantly be assigned. This could be website rebranding, funnel building, CRM, or something else. You will get paid when you do the job, so the frequency of payments is on you. Once you enjoy the work that you're doing for us, and we decide that we are a good fit for each other, we'd like to bring you on as a CTO with equity. Duties Design, develop, and maintain our website. Write clean, scalable code while adhering to best practices in software development. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end components. Have skills in both back and front end. Be able to work super flexible hours and jump on any task. Again, this is a STARTUP. Implement Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes. MOST IMPORTANT DUTY Bring on new ideas that will help the business grow. Your opinion will be highly valued, and we hope at some point down the line you will have your own dev team to manage. Qualifications Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, React, Express, MySQL, SQL, and AWS. Or any other code that's suitable for the requirements. Experience in web development. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS The #1 thing to understand is that this is a startup. No specific pay can be expected, so this job is leaning more towards college students or recent grads. (Pay will obviously be discussed) IF you're in college, you need to be a senior to have the experience for this job. Even if you are a senior, you are probably still lacking experience so you need to of worked on something else in the past. If you recently graduated, and don't want to get stuck working in the rat race for some corporate company, but rather try to build you own business with us, THIS IS FOR YOU! If you're currently working corporate, but would like to try to make something on your own, this is also for you. You need to be in the Miami or South Florida area, we don't mind remote work, but we do need to meet a lot to really get ideas across the board. Most of our members are located in Hollywood, FL, but go to University of Miami. There is even potential of the company having a big house for some members, where living can be accommodated for you.
