This role plays a key part in connecting people to the health resources they need.Job Description:The Medical Assistant will work directly with providers, patients, and clinical staff. This position is ideal for someone comfortable in a patient care clinic setting.Key Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment based on the direction of the provider.Room patients, providing a welcoming and safe space.Collect and confirm demographics and take blood pressure, height, and weight.Address and record chief complaints.Collaborate with provider on basic procedures and ensure rooms are safe and kept tidy.Qualifications:Medical Assisting Degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) program requiredCurrent BLS Certification1-3 years of Medical Assisting experiencePerks:Excellent benefitsPositive, friendly work cultureContinued development and trainingAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
