We want a professional who is an influencer, keeps a cheerful outlook, and excels at adapting to the organization's needs.Must have Root Cause Analysis, Injection Molding Experience, and be able to support a high volume manufacturing company.Position Responsibilities:Provide daily technical support and leadership to designated product lines, including hands-on root cause analysis, problem-solving, and long-term strategic direction for the productCollaborate dynamically with engineering, operations, materials, quality, suppliers, and marketing staff to implement significant improvements in product qualityConceive, justify, and plan solutions for complex problems. Implement engineering design changes that improve product function, reduce costs, reduce defects, and improve manufacturing efficiencyDesign, develop, and comply with testing proceduresCreate and revise product models, drawings, and BOM'sMinimum Qualifications:B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineDemonstrated experience (3-5 years) in achieving results in areas of responsibility as described above.Working knowledge of injection molded plastic component designWorking knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools (SolidWorks preferred)Aerospace or automotive industry experience preferredWorking knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&TWorking knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, and other quality improvement toolsExperience in low-cost, high-volume, low-defect manufacturingAbility to perform financial analysis and cost justificationsKnowledge of FEA and CFD
