Child Care LEAD Teacher

Adventures Learning Center is now hiring for Lead Teachers at our Caledonia location. If you have a passion for working with young children and helping them grow, this is the place for you! We believe Early Childhood Educators play a vital role in cultivating the minds of our community’s most precious resource, young children. * Pay range is commensurate with experience and education. Responsibilities Engaging with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in developmentally appropriate play-based learning activities. Establishing and maintaining positive child, family and staff relationships while ensuring the highest quality of childcare. Ideal candidates will have availability Monday-Friday. Qualifications and Skills Ideal candidates will be dependable, flexible, motivated, and fun! -Experience working with young children in a professional setting -Be willing to become CPR and First Aid certified -Be willing to submit to a background check -Be able to lift at least 50 lbs -Complete a tuberculosis test -MUST have a high school diploma or GED -CDA or Early Childhood Education credits Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Child Development Associate Certification or Degree (Preferred) Work Location: In person
