Financial Accountant

The company A boutique property and funds management business, established in Australia, with its head office based in inner Melbourne. The organisation is well established and entering a growth phase that is expected to continue into the foreseeable future. The role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of a small yet high-performing finance team. The position is available on a permanent full-time basis and has flexibility to work from home 1 day per week. The role is both hands-on and diverse in nature – it covers a range of funds. Some key responsibilities will include: Preparing daily pricing calculations for the funds Property accounting duties including billing, balance sheet reconciliations, debtor management and reporting. Monthly fund reporting preparation Assistance with budgeting and forecasting Assistance with BAS statements Driving change and identifying areas for process improvement Ad-hoc project work as and when required The successful candidate The successful candidate will be a hands‑on technically‑minded accountant.
