We are partnering with a fast-growing organization in the area seeking a licensed CPA to join the team immediately for a high-impact consulting engagement over the next 2–3 months. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to step into a dynamic environment, make an immediate impact, and help strengthen key accounting and reconciliation processes during a critical period of growth.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in GAAP, auditing, and financial risk analysis, along with the ability to quickly assess current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver strategic recommendations to leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, working independently, and partnering cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyze balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standardsInvestigate discrepancies, variances, and unusual activity while partnering with internal teams to resolve issuesEvaluate supporting documentation for adequacy and audit readinessPresent findings and actionable recommendations to improve reconciliation quality and consistencyIdentify trends, risks, and process gaps across accounting workflowsCollaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and support transition of updates to internal teamsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; active CPA requiredStrong experience with account reconciliations, including preparation and reviewDeep understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworksExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindsetStrong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholdersSelf-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
