Position OverviewAs a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving the lead generation process, identifying client needs, delivering meaningful proposals, closing new business, and supporting the transition to the client success team. The ideal candidate has a background in selling information services, a proven history of business development, and excels in a professional office environment. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop a sales plan to meet and exceed annual sales goals.Prospecting: Identify decision-maker profiles and build relationships based on trust and value.Daily Activity: Execute phone calls, video calls, in-person presentations, and represent the firm at trade shows.CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities within the company's CRM software.Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, finance, and leadership to optimize the sales process and drive pipeline development.Continuous Improvement: Refine strategies based on feedback and market results.Internal Relationships: Partner with the client success team to understand ongoing needs and refine future prospect conversations. Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 3-5 years of proven experience in sales/business development with a track record of driving revenue growth.Industry Knowledge: Prior work experience in the IT space is required (preferably as a seller or "seller/doer").Communication: Persuasive verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation abilities.Technical Proficiency: Competent in the full Microsoft Solutions suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and experienced with CRM tools.Social Selling: Proven history of building relationships and thought leadership via social media (LinkedIn, etc.).Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university.Work Style: Entrepreneurial spirit; ability to work effectively in an office environment (Oakbrook, IL).Compensation & BenefitsEarnings: Anticipated 1st-year On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $125,000+Health: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans with company participation.Retirement: 401K with company match.Flexibility: Remote work-from-home options (up to 2 days/week) available after the first six months.Time Off: 15 days of PTO in the first year.Insurance: 100% company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability; Company-paid Life Insurance.
