They will be active in inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff.Responsibilities:Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient's diagnosis.Develops treatment plans, including reassessment and revision every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient's progress.Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis.Documents progress reports for patients in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement.In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, will share with other PTs coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy and a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California.American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.Minimum of one year PT experience preferred.About Thrive StaffingThrive Staffing is a dedicated healthcare staffing company specializing in forging purposeful relationships with healthcare organizations and exceptional healthcare providers.Our services extend across the healthcare sector in all 50 states, from inpatient hospital systems to home health, hospice, outpatient clinics, rehab facilities, and senior living environments.
