A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Average daily census of 4 procedures per lab • Patient ratios: 1:4 during days, 1:3 during nights • Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted • On-call requirements including weekends, must pull call for both facilities • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks • Regular floating required between departments, units and facilities as needed • Must hold both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact licenses • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Complex PCI experience required • Travel experience required • 24 hours of orientation provided • Scrubs provided by facility • Epic charting system experience required • Must complete 3 hours of pre-start EMR modules • Infusion pump and glucometer training must be completed by Sunday prior to start date • Extensive skills required including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, pacemaker insertion, and various interventional procedures • Serve patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups • Maximum 7 days request time off allowed • 2 years of recent specialty experience required with full year in-specialty within past 12 months Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular services.
