American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Tucson, Arizona.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Mar 23, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ.Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an acute care hospital in Tucson, AZ4x10 hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMApproximately 9–10 on-call shifts per month plus 1 weekend of call per monthProcedures include angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, peripheral), and STEMI coverageUse of Impella and IABP expectedMonitoring and recording performed on MacLabEMR: CernerStructural heart experience preferred but not requiredRequirements Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience requiredARRT certification required — RCIS certification is not acceptedCurrent BLS requiredProficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures requiredExperience with Impella and IABP requiredCerner EMR experience preferred; MacLab training providedNo gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 monthsCandidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligibleLicense required if applicableDriver's license required for considerationAdditional Information Duties include scrubbing and monitoring/recording for a full range of cath lab proceduresMacLab training is available for candidates with monitoring experience but limited MacLab exposureKnowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock rooms is expectedAny solid color scrubs are acceptableCertifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start dateRTO requests must be for less than one week in durationCandidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this positionAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-683671.
