This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast paced, well supported urgent care environment. Our full time schedules are designed, so clinicians are off more days than they work. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care settingManage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visitsOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imagingPerform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsDocument patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHRCode and bill services appropriatelyMaintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarksPractice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required QualificationsActive, unrestricted Arizona licenseNational board certification requiredActive DEA licenseAbility to treat patients of all agesActive BLS certificationEHR proficiencyWillingness to work occasional weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered and certification is good for 10 years!)
