Regional Sales Manager - Southeast

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Regional Sales Director based remotely in our Southeast markets, including Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, Atlanta, GA, Orland, FL, or Jacksonville, FL.Job Summary:Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (“CWT”) Regional Sales Director position is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals focused on selling into the Residential & Light Construction segment through lumberyards and two-step distribution by creating “pull-through” demand from residential builders, architects, and contractors specifically requesting CWT’s products.Duties and Responsibilities:Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Implements national and regional sales programsManage the direct sales efforts of the regional sales team and ensure territory development plans are on target and being achieved. Maintains regional sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees.Maintains regional sales staff job results by coaching employees; managing employee performance; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsPartner with customers to understand their business needs and objectivesEffectively communicate through proposals and presentationsInterface with other company departments to achieve sales objectives. This includes field problem solving and negotiating to satisfy company and customer objectives, which may conflict. Consistently report market information and deliver feedback to departments. This will include such things as market conditions, competitive pricing and programs. Provide management with written correspondence and monthly reports to cover all aspects of the region that impact sales.Maintain pricing strategy consistent with corporate objectives.
