Job OverviewThe Strategic Account Manager, E-Commerce & MRO reports to the Sr. Director of Sales for the Retail & Alternate Channel and is responsible for optimizing our digital presence and accelerating sales growth for RACO, TayMac, Bell, and Wiegmann across Amazon and select MRO accounts.This role requires a strong background in ecommerce strategic account management, digital brand development, and customer experience, with a demonstrated record of driving revenue growth and enhancing online visibility. The Strategic Account Manager will scale our brands on Amazon's 1P marketplace and lead the launch of our 3P marketplace offering - balancing strategic vision with hands-on operational execution. This individual must be proactive, highly autonomous, and capable of driving initiatives that move the business forward. The role also supports the Sr. Director in developing and executing the overall ecommerce strategy for the channel portfolio.The position will collaborate closely with retail and online merchandising teams to define and execute growth plans. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day sales activities, participating in line reviews and channel-specific product development, supporting customer promotions, and contributing to ecommerce marketing initiatives.A Day In The LifeAchieve revenue, profitability, and cost-management targets for the business.Serve as the primary relationship owner for Amazon, leading negotiations, strategic planning, and cross-functional initiatives.Own Amazon reporting and analytics, generating weekly, monthly, and daily insights to identify performance drivers and growth opportunities.Act as the internal subject-matter expert on Amazon; manage daily operations through Vendor Central, Seller Central, FBA, AMS, and Enhanced Content.Lead retail media strategy development and oversee media budget management.Manage the sales support agency to ensure alignment with business objectives.Oversee customer compliance metrics, product forecasting, and inventory planning.Partner closely with Supply Chain, Distribution, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, and Marketing to drive key projects and priorities.Support the development and execution of ecommerce marketing and promotional strategies.What will help you thrive in this role?Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience; or five years of ecommerce strategic account management.Direct experience selling products on Amazon, with strong knowledge of retailer-specific policies and guidelines.Experience with accounts such as Lowes.com, Walmart.com, Grainger, Fastenal, or Ferguson highly favored.Strong financial acumen with the ability to balance topline growth and bottom-line profitability.Ability to analyze POS and external data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop reports, business plans, and persuasive presentations.Self-motivated, organized, and effective in both independent and team-based environments with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation skills and a proven record of success.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI.Experience managing 1p and 3p offers.Ability to travel 25% of time.Hubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
