Employees benefit from hands-on experience, growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture that emphasizes quality, safety, and professional development.Position SummaryAs a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating fire sprinkler systems for a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Your designs will guide installation teams and ensure compliance with NFPA and local codes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.This is a full-time, in-office position; remote work is not available.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign fire sprinkler systems, including sprinklers, standpipes, and fire pumpsProduce detailed drawings and submittals used by installation teamsConduct hydraulic analysis and calculations for system designSecure permits and approvals from local authoritiesCoordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractorsConduct site surveys for new and existing buildingsPrepare material lists and place orders as neededUpdate shop drawings and documentation throughout the projectParticipate in project closeout, ensuring all documentation and records are completeAttend on-site coordination, scheduling, and construction meetingsWork independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and compliance standardsRequired Skills & AbilitiesMinimum 2 years’ fire sprinkler design experienceIn-depth knowledge of fire alarm/fire sprinkler system design, installation, and testingStrong understanding of NFPA codes and local building regulationsProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and RevitAbility to perform hydraulic analysis and system calculationsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license for travel to job sitesAbility to work in all conditions (hot/cold, cramped spaces) and lift up to 50 lbsPreferred QualificationsNICET CertificationAssociate degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldAutoCAD Certification or equivalent experienceWork Environment100% in-office roleTravel to job sites for surveys and coordination meetingsWork performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in challenging conditionsProlonged periods at a desk creating designs and documentationWhy You’ll Love It HereWork with a leading provider of fire and life safety servicesOpportunity to design systems that directly impact safety and complianceExposure to a variety of projects, from multifamily to commercial and industrialCollaborative, growth-oriented culture with hands-on learning and developmentCompetitive compensation and benefits
