Registered Nurse Case Manager - Quantico

Job Overview:AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking an experienced and certified Registered Nurse Case Manager to support the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCESG) at MCB Quantico. The RN will coordinate, track, and manage care for Marines on limited duty status, ensuring timely medical evaluations, proper documentation, and compliance with military readiness and disability evaluation systems. This position is pivotal in helping injured or ill service members receive proper care while maintaining force readiness and administrative compliance.General Duties:Participate in training, continuing education, and performance reviews.Follow infection control, emergency response, and legal compliance protocols.Perform accurate and timely documentation using military health systems.Work with other staff to ensure safe, effective patient care coordination.Attend meetings, training sessions, and briefings as required.Specific Duties:Maintain RN license, BLS, and recognized case management certification (e.g., CCM, CRRN).Act as a subject matter expert on HIPAA, IDES, TLD, and military medical readiness.Assess, coordinate, implement, and evaluate comprehensive medical case management.Track and manage all Marines assigned to light duty, temporary limited duty (TLD), or permanent limited duty (PLD).Ensure Marines not fully fit after 60 days are appropriately evaluated and processed.Coordinate with MTFs, medical boards, HQMC, and military systems (e.g., MCTFS, MEDBOLTTS, SMART).Prepare and update all required documentation and statistics for Marine medical statuses.Ensure accurate reporting in all military databases including Marine Online (MOL), MMRS, and DRRS.Monitor Marine progress through IDES and ensure compliance with appointment attendance.Advise commanders on reenlistment eligibility based on medical fitness.Serve as a liaison between the Marine command, medical teams, and administrative offices.Qualifications:Degree: Bachelor's Degree in NursingEducation: Graduate from a school accredited by NLNAC or CCNECertification: One of the following:CCM (Certified Case Manager)RN-NCM (Nurse Case Manager)CRRN (Certified Rehab Registered Nurse)CDMS, COHN, COHN-S, ACCC, CRC, or CMCLicensure: Current, full, active, unrestricted RN licenseExperience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience post-graduationOther Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)Skills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of case management principles and military healthcare processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in using CHCS, AHLTA, MHS Genesis, MEDBOLTTS, MCTFS, MOL, SMARTAbility to work independently and with leadership to advise on medical duty statusesHigh level of attention to detail in documentation and follow-upBenefits:Competitive Pay80 hours of paid vacation annuallyUp to 56 hours of paid sick leave11 paid federal holidaysHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance401K PlanSchedule:Monday through FridayBetween 0630 and 1600 hours8-hour shifts within that windowWork Environment: Military administrative and clinical environment, primarily focused on coordination, documentation, and communication with command.Immunization Requirement: Must meet military medical immunization standards.Security Requirement: Must pass background and security clearance requirements for access to military systems and facilities.
