The welding robot operator will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of welded metal components by operating, setting up, and maintaining automated robotic welding systems.This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $30 per hour plus $0.75 shift differentialSchedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)Pay Schedule: Bi-weeklyTraining will be on 1st Shift (2 - 4 weeks)Monday - Thursday6:00am-4:30pmResponsibilitiesWelding Robot Operator Responsibilities:Following the production orders, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies by teaching the robot and executing robotic welding.Execute welds in accordance with company's procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing minor malfunctions as needed.Inspecting finished welds for conformance to specifications.Verifying and documenting welding processes and any variations.Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.Welding Robot Operator Qualifications:At least 3 years' experience in robot operation - robotic welding strongly preferred.Experience and certification in welding in accordance with ASME standard a plus.Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.Methodical, organized, and precise.Proactive in proposing solutions.QualificationsJoining Wieland's team gives you...Benefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!Retirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.Work/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.Growth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
