You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a teamEssential Job Functions: Lead by example as a supervisor, assisting guests with room calls and efficiently troubleshooting any concerns brought to your attentionMaintain an exceptional Preventative Maintenance program for guest rooms and various operational equipment, including pools, kitchen equipment, and other assigned areasSupport your department head's needs while providing guidance and mentorship to the engineering teamFoster a collaborative team environment within your department and across other departments such as Front Office, Security, Sales, Housekeeping, and Food & BeveragePrioritize safety by utilizing proper PPE and adhering to all safety regulations set by the city, state, and OSHAPerform comprehensive general repair and maintenance on all equipment in and around the hotel, ensuring everything is in top working orderPhysical Demands: Lift, push, pull, rotate 50lbs or moreStanding and walking up to a full 8 hours a dayQualifications: Education:High School diploma or equivalentTrade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plusPrevious experience working in a hotel or customer service capacity requiredExperience:Mathematical knowledge of building and constructionFull understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, ExcelPreferred Experience working on HVAC, plumbing, construction and machineryFull-Time position with the flexibility to workdays, nights, weekends and holidaysSpire Hospitality, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and veterans.
